Very small museum perfect for single artist exhibits. I saw Cecily Brown here and it was fantastic. They also have one of the better museum book stores—especially worthwhile to check out their close out section in the back.

A gem of a gallery in Hyde Park. Often free to visit (they ask you to register for a free ticket online) with a diverse and intriguing range of artists. Just the right size for a leisurely visit compared to the blockbuster shows at the big galleries. In the summer there is the added attraction of a themed pavilion next door usually with a cafe.

Went here today, it's a nice collection of art. Not a lot like the larger galleries but still worth visiting. Its free and I didn't have to register online first. The added advantage is that it's near the Hyde Park Lake so I had a lovely walk around the park after seeing the gallery.

Hard to believe you get free art in a lovely setting in Hyde Park. Kudos to the staff (very friendly) and a lovely and affordable lunch at the north site. And I got in without booking, so made it a great spur of the moment choice… Only downside was a disappointing Peter Doid music/art exhibit, with underwhelming sound experience. Giant vintage speakers, whisper quiet music. Felt like a missed opportunity, as the art is cool.

The staff is a bit rude, those who are looking after the artifacts. Otherwise the gallery is nice. Not too big though. Set in a nice place. If you want to have a nice relaxing walk, visit Royal Albert hall or memorial, you can tie it up with visiting the gallery
